Requirement: Degree: PhD or M.S. in the field of chemistry, polymer science and engineering, chemical engineering, biomedical engineering, biochemistry, materials science and engineering. PhD preferred. M.S. with relevant research lab hands-on experience can be considered Must have hands-on experience working with macromolecules, that can be either polymers or biomolecules
Responsibility: Design and conduct experiments to evaluate hemostat and sealant products. Design and conduct experiments to develop and validate test methods relevant to hemostasis products and sealants. Design and conduct experiments for process development. Prototype builds to support cross-functional activities. Maintain a clean and organized lab, order reagents and supplies as needed and manage sample distribution to relevant testing labs as needed. Maintain good documentations on lab records and research studies, write reports, prepare presentations and present routinely in team meetings. Preparation and analysis of experimental data using Excel and Minitab. Comply with J&J GxP test environment regulations as well as J&J SOPs. Complete all trainings on time as required.
Schedule: 8 hour shift
